Ziza Bafana Explains Why He Keeps Falling Out with His Management

Renowned Ugandan musician Ziza Bafana is one of the few artistes in the country who have trouble settling under one management.
He was once managed by Spice Diana's manager Roger before they had a bitter fall out. Since then, he has shifted from one management to the other.
Speaking during a recent interview, he noted that he shifts a lot because he does not agree with his managers on a number of critical issues.
"Most times we do not agree on our goals and what we want to achieve. I'm an artiste and I need time to do some things on a professional level,” he said.

According to Ziza, he is always approached by a number of people who desire to work with him, but they end up disagreeing on key issues because he has a different way of doing things.
"It is my friends who manage my music yet platforms keep on changing. When you are an upcoming artiste, you only need a manager who will distribute your music to different media but when you are already established, you need something more than that.
"You need management that understands the value of your music and sell it to you fan base,” he divulged.
In December 2019, Ziza announced that he had signed socialite Ms Faridah Masika, the CEO of Masika Management who was to handle all his business and work related deals.
However, eight months down the road, the pair is no longer together. Ziza says he is looking for a body of managers who would want to look at issues from his point of view.
