Teamarrr Releases New Single Dubbed 'Colors' Featuring Wale

A lot continues to happen in America and we are finding more and more artists speaking about it on their timelines, in their music and on other different platforms. The latest artist to do so is Teamarrr on her latest single titled ‘Colors’ featuring Wale.
‘Colors’ is as it exactly sounds, it is speaking against police brutality against people of colour/the black community. On this single, both Teamarrr and Wale are speaking on their desire to not have any other black person killed based on police judgement or the reckless calls from the Karens in their neighbourhoods.
Wale is very intentional about his music and it is no surprise that he would agree to be featured in such a single. His lyrics on ‘Colors’ stay on brand with great intentionality while still maintaining a great flow. Teamarrr on the other hand has been very vocal on her socials as it especially hits hard being a Haitian living in America; she faces the Trump administration and the police brutality. She is also very intentional and blunt about her delivery and lyrics.
The single is the perfect coming together of Hip-Hop and blues. This is backed with some interestingly layered vocal harmonies and echoes that occasionally pop up as the song progresses.
This is definitely one of the most hard-hitting singles in support of the BLM movement. Catch a vibe with Teamarrr and Wale on ‘Colors’.
