Troye Sivan Releases New Inquisitve Single Dubbed 'Rager Teenager'

There is the unmotivated way about the sound and swag that many artists are on about and it is so beautiful in a way that it lets them be vulnerable without necessarily taking away from who they are as humans. This is what Troye Sivan keeps giving us with his music and we love it. He has a new song out titled ‘Rager Teenager’.
‘Rager Teenager’ is a song about becoming. In this single, Troye speaks on not being too sure about everything but there is the beauty of pushing through life and eventually getting to that point where he is comfortable with the journey of becoming. It is a song with a lot of questioning.
As mentioned above, there is everything alternative and emotive about Troye Sivan’s music and this is no different for ‘Rager Teenager’ both in sound and vocally. Troye Sivan has very full vocals that are created within the base of the mouth which is great for articulation and also translates to him not being too heavy on belting or using a head voice. On this single, the beat is slow-paced with subtle add-ons and a quiet and calm way in how it flows. Therefore there is the nice blend between the beat and Troye’s vocals.
The video is shot in true quarantine style with only Troye in a bathtub figuring himself out. In true translation of the audio because we all have many bathroom moments where we try to break down our emotions and life in general.
