Legendary Ugandan Hip-Hop star G.N.L Zamba has penned down an open letter to fans and artistes expressing his disappointments and bitterness about how the industry has turned out.

In his letter, G.N.L Zamba narrates how he developed his latest single 'Dear HipHop' and the effect it had on the fans considering the fact that he had been away for quite some time.

According to him, his latest jam raised enemies especially among his fellow artistes. He claims the artistes bribed the media to allegedly criticize him and his music.

"On my return, I have realized that nothing has changed in the industry. I have realized that nothing has improved through an intellectual artiste lens. The bitter toxic seed of small minded violence and warring among musicians like Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine is now a tree bearing the bitter fruit that feeds local ethos," he opined.

The veteran musician noted that he’ll use the opportunity the universe has presented him to teach Ugandan artistes a thing or two about music.

He also took a jab at his long-time nemesis, Gravity Omutujju who he says has never crossed any international borders.

G.N.L also used the letter to introduce his upcoming album dubbed ‘Spear’ which he claims will take Ugandan Hip-hop international.

“I have a new solo album coming called The Spear and I’m confident that it is the one to take Lugaflow fully to the mainstream international market. I have taken 3 years creating it, taking time and not compromising quality or authenticity. My fans deserve the best and if I’m going to represent my people, I will give it my best. The Spear album is my next stage of artistic evolution. Think Koyikoyi album but on a more mature, refined, and diverse stream of thought and sonic exploration,” he said.
