One of the finest kids dance groups in Uganda Triplet Ghetto Kids have received global recognition thanks to their latest video under the ‘Black Lives Matter’ theme.

The group put out a video jamming to Buddy's 'Black lives Matter' song titled 'We Love Being Black', and it caught the attention of American singer and songwriter Janet Jackson; who reposted it on her Instagram page.

Shortly after she re-posted the video, fans from all over the world flooded the comment section with positive reviews, showing support for the kids, and praising their efforts and skills.

The visuals for the new dance video were shot in the slums of Kampala.

Taking to Instagram, the Ghetto Kids appreciated Janet Jackson for the special recognition.

"Wow! We didn't see this coming. Thank you so much Janet Jackson for appreciating our work. We are so excited for this,” the kids posted.

Despite comments from fans in the diaspora urging the kids to dress in proper clothes, the kids have maintained their dressing arguing that it defines who they are.

The Triplet Ghetto Kids was founded by Kawuma Dauda in 2013 with a mission of using music, dance and drama to help less privileged children in society.

This group came to the limelight in 2014 when they danced to Eddy Kenzo's 'Sitya Loss' that introduced them to the world.

Because of their fame, they had a chance to feature in French Montana's 'Unforgettable' ft Swae Lee.
