Chronixx Releases Highly Anticipated Video For His 'Cool as the Breeze/Friday' Single

It is at this point in Kenya when we enjoy the sun through music videos and that is exactly what we are doing with Chronixx’s new video for his single ‘Cool as the Breeze/Friday’.
‘Cool as the Breeze/Friday’ is an ode to Jamaica from Chronixx; he takes us through the feel good culture in Jamaica both lyrically and visually. Chronixx, we can all at this point conclude will really take any chance to sing about both his city and country and we love to see it.
As mentioned above, this single is a lot of vibes from all angles; the beat is predominantly reggae; not roots as is Chronixx’s signature and not fully dancehall. Chronixx flows in a rap style for his verses and smoothly lays some vocals over the beat to create the chorus. There is everything calming and lifting about listening to this single.
The video is shot in the streets with regular folk doing regular things in the streets. It gives us a full day account; waking up in a country that is always summer, hustling to make a living, Chronixx riding around the streets on his couch, the lovers in the beach, streets and clubs, the bike and motorbike culture and eventually ends up in the club. Chronixx stays as a third party in the video with everything else happening around him.
