We have all been living in our spaces and facing everything that life throws at us for months now and Mya is making sure that we feel positive with her new single ‘Space and Time’ and the most airy video for it.
‘Space and Time’ is about finding the balance with these two aspects in life so as to make sure that we are staying alive and remembering to breathe through this season.
The single is released days after Mya talked on her desire to keep the 90’s/early 2000s RnB alive. ‘Space and Time’ is a true reflection of that as it follows that kind of progression in flow. The beat is a fusion of RnB and country; it sounds like a stripped version of Toni Braxton’s ‘Let it Flow’. Mya has always been smooth about her vocals and so she blends into the beat with an easy flow; really makes you think about dwelling in that space and time.
The video is shot with mya in her natural habitat; on announcing about the song, Mya took time to mention that the video was really shot in her backyard. She keeps everything airy with a lot of whites which gives off a summer vibe; it is really to tell that Mya was just having fun with it all.
