LANY Release The Video For Their Single 'If This is The Last Time'

LANY are bulding their fans up to the release of their album ‘Mama’s Boy’ later on this year. For a teaser of the album, they have released a new single titled ‘if this is the last time’.
‘if this is the last time’ is really as the title suggests because it is picked from the last line of the song’s chorus. They sing about the fear of losing the people they love and more specifically their parents and the fear of letting them go as any day could be the last. Also, this is very much in line with the title of their yet to be released album.
The song is quite alternative; this is because the beat sounds like an electric rock sound that never quite reaches the climax. The song starts off as acapella then builds up to a very minimal beat that only becomes busy at the end. This in a way classifies this as an alternative electric rock song.
The video is set in an empty house. The band members are singing to their parents, who also appear in the video. There is the small snippet of the band playing together. The video closes with a portrait still of the band members and their parents.
We are at a time where there is a lot of uncertainty and this song encapsulates this very well. Catch a vibe with LANY on ‘if this is the last time’.
