Grace Mwai Releases New Video For Single Titled 'Niuhotaga'

We seem to need every clutch of hope through positive music during these COVID-19 times and Grace Mwai is serving us just that with her new single ‘Niuhotaga’.
‘Niuhotaga’ is a Kikuyu word that translates to ‘You are able’. The song is a drift from Matthew 19:26, “With man this is impossible but with God all things are possible.” Grace Mwai is making a prayer to God asking him to come through for every situation.
The single is in the musical world classified as RnB and hence fitting it into a worship song, all based on the sound. The single is layered with some light bass and guitar riffs over some keys from the keyboard. It also has some amazing vocal arrangements acting as Grace Mwai’s background vocals.
The video is set outside with Grace Mwai as the main focus. It depends a lot on natural lighting and greenery/earthy tones for the entire colour that is present. Grace Mwai uses make-up and clothing that pretty much blend sinto the whole scenery.
This will definitely feature on the worship song list for many churches, now that has been opened up again. In the meantime though, catch a soulful vibe with Grace Mwai on ‘Niuhotaga’.
