Nigerian hip hop recording artist Olamide Adedeji has announced that his upcoming album is almost complete.

Olamide who records mostly in Yoruba, his native tongue, made the announcement in a post on his official Twitter handle.

Apparently, many of the YBNL record label boss had raised concerns that the singer has gone silent or was not active on social media as he used to.

This prompted Olamide Baddo to come and and assure his fans that all was well, only that he was busy in the kitchen 'cooking' the new project.

"I didn't forget my password lol. I've been in the kitchen ema foh eshima gbor mi si. Album 95% ready #YBNLMafia," Olamide tweeted.

In 2011, Olamide released his debut studio album Rapsodi while signed to Coded Tunes.

YBNL, his follow-up album, was released under his label imprint YBNL Nation. The album was supported by the singles "First of All", "Voice of the Street", "Stupid Love", and "Ilefo Illuminati".

On 7 November 2013, he released his third studio album Baddest Guy Ever Liveth. The album's singles include "Durosoke" and "Yemi My Lover".

In February, Olamide had released his 10th studio album '999' that contained 9 tracks and featured 9 different artists.
