Rivalries commonly known as 'beefs' in the Hip-hop industry have existed for so long. While some rappers engage in dissing each other through songs, some just throw jabs at their counterparts through the media.
The focal point of most feuds is mainly the need for dominance and self-affirmation of who the best rapper is in the industry.

Feffe Bussi says he released 'Who is Who' to awaken appears after he realized that the Ugandan Hip-hop industry was losing popularity to dancehall music. The rappers he was referring to included; Victor Kamenyo, Fik Fameica, and Gravity Omutujju.
Gravity Omutujju Vs Navio
Ugandan rappers Gravity Omutujju and Navio have had their differences for some time now. They have had a strange relationship being that they are in the same industry.
Their beef started two years ago when Gravity Omutujju in his song called ‘Black Panther’, publicly trashed veteran rappers like Babaluku, Rocky Giant and Navio. He specifically pointed at Navio saying he is a “Mummy’s boy”.
He claimed that Navio doesn’t have lyrics and good music but has only survived in the industry because of the financial support from his family and his mother Dr Maggie Kigozi. Gravity later apologised after backlash from fans. Fast forward to June 2020, Gravity Omutujju referred to Navio as a 'she' but Navio was quick to shut him up saying he would not like the consequences, the next time he mentioned his family in their beef.

Feffe Bussi does not see eye to eye with Gravity Omutujju after he accused him of stealing his stage name. Feffe Bussi revealed that the two would meet during school breaks and discuss their future and what they wanted achieve. "I told him I wanted to use Gravity as my stage name but one day his friend from Old Kampala approached us and called him Gravity. He explained that he used to do my songs within his friends and I was okay with it. He later took the name and joined music so I let him be as a friend," Feffe Bussi told Sunrise UG.
Recho Rey Vs Keko
There was a time when we knew Jocelyn Tracy known to many as Keko, as the baddest female rapper in Uganda. She later relocated to Canada after her career went down the drain because of drugs. Her name, however, still holds value in the foundation of Hip-hop music in Uganda. We currently have a young rapper running the streets and she feels she is ready to take Keko's crown without fear. 19-year-old Recho Rey in an interview revealed that she is ready to battle it out with the legendary rapper because she feels she has all it takes.
"If Keko came up and she really wants to battle me, I'm there because I'm not afraid of anything. I do Luga flow. Keko is a very good rapper but I'm bad in my own style. I do not know about her." Recho revealed.
G.N.L Zamba Vs Gravity Omutujju
By now, we can comfortably say Gravity Omutujju enjoys bickering with fellow rappers. In the past weeks, there has been a brewing fight between Gravity Omutujju and G.N.L that is keeping fans on the hook.
Hip-hop lovers have always rated G.N.L Zamba highly for his lyrical maturity and flow, plus his latest single, ‘Dear Hip-Jop' has gained his more fans. This did not sit well with Gravity Omutujju who trashed down G.N.L Zamba's contribution to the industry.
According to Gravity Omutujju, the US-based rapper is overrated and in actual sense he has done so little towards the genre. In his defense, G.N.L trashed Gravity Omutujju, revealing he is too big to be compared to 'trash' (Gravity). They have been going hard at each other with no hope of reconciliation.
