It has been five months since the dramatic breakup between renowned Ugandan artistes Daddy Andre and Angella Katatumba.

The singer and philanthropist has revealed that she has already moved on from the separation and she is currently single.

"Applications do no stop coming and I do not turn them down. I'm not going to say that I'm with someone, I'll just leave it open not to scare away potential partners," she said.

The celebrity ex-couple may have broken up, but they left behind a love song 'Tonelabira' that has made way into people's hearts and Angella is forever grateful to Daddy Andre.

"I'm very grateful and I believe that the chapter Andre fulfilled in my life was a very important one. He wrote a beautiful song for us and I'm so grateful for that. I wish him the very best just like I hope he is wishing me the same. I thank God that he gave us a hook,” she said.

She noted that she has moved on, and does not have any ill feelings towards the new lady rumored to be dating her ex-boyfriend.

Through all this, she remains confused as to why Andre allegedly refused to go for the HIV test she asked him for.

"Andre said he would only test with his wife but it does not make sense. Because you still have to first date this woman before you wife her. You will not sleep with all the women without testing and knowing each other's statuses. It is important," she said.
