"The year 2016 was one of the roughest years of my life, but also a very inspiring year, I learned new perspectives on love, hate, sex, family, laughter, darkness, friends, society, grief, humans and spirituality, all in so little time. Little did I know this life's cocktail would inspire my album "Beyond Myself'. It is so nice to know I've created something that will meet the right ears, the hearts that are in need of this here craft," Maurice Kirya posted on his social media accounts.

Other tracks in the album include; To Love You, Munonde, Gimme Light, So Cold, Kulunaku Olwo, Echoes, Little Doll, Slow Down and Remember Me.
