Teamarrr Drops New EP Dubbed 'Before I Spill Myself'

Issa Rae announced the coming together of her new label ‘Raedio’ and her first signee shortly after; ‘Teamarrr’. This partnership between Teamarrr and Issa Rae has finally come to fruition with the release of her EP ‘Before I Spill Myself’.
‘Before I Spill Myself’ is a project on love and in her words; this EP narrates the beginning and end of a romantic cycle when you are trying to get to know someone. This is also explained at the very beginning of the EP when she creates a trailer that takes us into the depth of the project with a spoken word verse of sorts.
‘Before I Spill Myself’ is an 11 track R&B project. The Haitian/American artist has some singles that were released before these both with Atlantic Records (her former label) and Raedio. She has only three features on there with SiR, D Smoke and Rapsody.
The singer knows how to flow seamlessly switching from singing to almost rapping; this is a technique she widely uses through the project. She has a voice that attacks every beat and almost immediately loses it to cloud the song with a head voice; this creates a calmness to the EP. This helps because she is very straightforward in her penmanship hence the balance is needed.
