Keke Palmer has been giving us good music for years and especially this year, she has been a lot consistent. She is back with a new single ‘Sticky’ featuring Coi Leray.
‘Sticky’ is a braggadocio single that is really Keke bragging about her man and how well and much he loves her.
Keke Palmer is a woman of many talents and in this single she lets a bit of that side show; she raps and she sings. As much as her rap flow sounds like singing, she puts on some fire attitude that qualifies her verses as rapping. She also gets her vocals laid for the chorus beautifully and with the same little attitude that is very necessary for this song. Coi Leray jumps on the last verse of the single with a rap verse and her delivery skills very well match with Keke’s swag on the song. The song is rap/sung on a trap beat which goes well with a little RnB swag with her voice.
The video is shot in Keke Palmer’s kitchen. She is working it in her different wigs and baking pastries and dressed in couture. They use shadows and neon lighting for the colours in the video.
