Chloe x Halle Release a Grown Video For New Single 'Do It'

We are really watching Chloe x Halle get all grown-ish before our eyes. The Beyonce signed artists are back with a new banger ‘Do It’ and it is grown, really.
‘Do It’ is a millennial song about being comfortable in one’s own skin and not really bending to fit into whatever standards because that is just how you do it.
Chloe x Halle have been good at balancing RnB and delivering a bop all in one song and ‘Do It’ is not different. The song samples some old school RnB feel that is quite subtle and minimalistic as it only presents itself with a bass dub. This is layered with a hip-hop trap beat, which is the most apparent.
The instrumentation is left not too busy which is great for Chloe to hit us with the alto layered verses and Halle to run wild with her soprano-pitched voice for the chorus. They marry their voices for the harmonies and as always, it is beautiful.
The video is well set with mirrors channeling the old school RnB queens with their latex pants and dancing all through. The video is all grown and sexy from the dressing, the dancing and the setting. There are a lot of flashing lights in the video so they should have maybe started with the epilepsy trigger warning message.
‘Do It’ is from their forthcoming album ‘Ungodly Hour’ to be released on the 5th of June. Catch this millennial vibe with Chloe x Halle on ‘Do It’ and maybe participate in the ‘Do It TicToc Challenge’.
