Kuiyu is a very soulful artist with a very feminine touch to his voice, sound and swag and he is really not afraid to explore that in his music. He does a lot of music in Kikuyu and he has decided to explore Luo in his new single ‘Jaherana’.

‘Jaherana’ is a love song that talks about budding love that never ends. In his words, it is a reassurance of devotion, enchantment and the clingy sweetness that is passionate affection.

‘Jaherana’ is a refix of Flawa Boys’, a single from Kuiyu’s project ‘Kionjo’. Jaherana is put on an afro-pop beat with drums infused into an EDM arrangement. This makes it quite a bop song. This kind of busy instrumentation gives Kuiyu the luxury to go soft with his vocals and have fun with breezing over the beat which is a great balance to make the audio sound very cohesive. He layers on the harmonies in the song with his own voice.

The ‘Jaherana’ video takes us through a holidaying Kuiyu; probably to take the direction of ‘bae taking us through our holiday vlogs’. The non vlogged scenes of the video are shot by the beach and pretty much using the Coastal scenery for background and props.

This is definitely a single to hit the dance crazy button on. Catch a vibe with Kuiyu on ‘Jaherana’.
