Trey Songz recently released photos of his adorable son Noah on his 1st birthday that happened during quarantine. He has now gone ahead to create a beautiful song for his son that is titled ‘Back Home’ featuring Summer Walker.

‘Back Home’ can be translated in two different ways; one for the masses and the other for Trey Songz and his family. It is a song about constantly getting back to where home is, a person or place or an item, if you love it you will find a way back there.

The sound of ‘Back Home’ is a sample of Cam’ron’s hit single ‘Oh Boy’ featuring Juelz Santana. This sound provides vocal harmonies that echo through the song. Trey Songz and Summer Walker being both vocalists, such a strong beat for a smooth song gives them room to use their vocals to be the centre stage of the song and they both rose to the occasion.

The chorus that is sang by Trey Songz is also a sample of New Edition’s chart topping single ‘If It Isn’t Love’. Trey twists the last part by adding, “why do I keep coming back home?”

The video is really a vlog of videos of Trey Songz and Noah bonding. There are minimal appearances by anyone else but the two. The video ends with the two holding a conversation.
