MoRoots Looks to Bring Cheer in Times of Covid-19 with Latest Single

MoRoots is excited to announce the release of the fourth single, Yaya, off her debut album From The Sun.
Yaya is a song about a deep ethereal enjoyment of something, somewhere or someone. Especially in a time when the world is going through this unprecedented time because of Covid-19, it’s important that we find hope in the things that bring us joy, the things that are Yaya.
“I wrote this song on a road trip to Bunyonyi, Uganda. As I sat by the banks of Lake Bunyonyi, taking in the sunset and listening to the waves crashing against the rocks, I caught myself thinking how something so simple could offer such deep spiritual experience and enjoyment. I wanted to immortalise that experience the only way i knew how with the hope that this song will take each one of you back to a place when everything was ‘Yaya’ ” - MoRoots
