Serro Announces The Release of Her Debut Studio Album To Be Titled 'Kuwe'

It has been 3 years of Serro promising us an album and the queen of ballads has finally put a date on her word. The album is coming on the 30th of May. The album will be titled ‘Kuwe’ which means ‘for you’.
Serro hit the spotlight with her wonderful cover of Yemi Alade’s hit single ‘Johnny’. Serro slowed down the single and caught people’s attention with the beautiful vocals she put down on the song; explosive and well-rounded which still let in the dramatic touch of the song.
Serro has since gone on to create a niche for herself. She is without doubt the queen of ballads in Kenya; whether singing in Swahili or Luo every song comes rich, soulful and explosive. If you have watched her on stage, you know that Serro is the fire every stage needs. If you have watched her performing acoustics, you have definitely touched heaven and you understand why she is the queen of ballads.
This is definitely exciting for the songstress and her team who have tirelessly worked for three years to get this album to Serro’s fans.
