Ugandan vocalist and guitarist Irene Ntale has been missing on the music scene but fans might want to look out for her new music that is on way.

Speaking during her performance at the Club Beatz online concert over the weekend, the diva revealed that she would have released her music album if it was not for the lock down that started due to the outbreak of the corona virus.

Because of this crisis, many musicians have postponed songs and album releases they had scheduled for the coming months.

The current lock down has made it difficult for musicians to conduct full promotional activities including radio and TV interviews, tours among other activities that they would have done normally.

Following her move to part ways with Swangz Avenue, Irene Ntale has been taking her time before dropping new jams.

She recently resurfaced when she signed with Universal Music Group in Nigeria, releasing her first single under the label dubbed 'Nyamba'.

Since then, fans have been yearning for her good soothing music from her, forcing her to announce that the music is ready but can't be released due to the pandemic.

"I recorded a whole album that was set to be released earlier this year then COVID-19 happened. The whole of last year I was recording. I was in and out of Nigeria recording music with different producers, artistes, and then COVID happened. The good thing, the music is done and ready to go. So let’s first wait for things to become better," she said.
