Tanzanian gospel singer Edgar Kasemba has released a new track celebrating women dubbed ‘Wanawake Wanaweza’.
The song covers different themes like women's empowerment and the role of women in society.
Furthermore, Kasembe also talks about the thorny subject of women in leadership.

In this song, Kasembe exudes confidence stating that he is not ashamed to stand up for women, breaking the existing stereotypes.
He notes that those still looking down upon women are living in the past.
"Wanaweke wanaweza… wanaweza … wanaweza...namba moja...ila dunia ya leo ishachelewa kama meli ilikutamna na mwamba,” he sings.
This a simple music production that carries a strong message on some of the thorny issues in society.
The beat incorporates mainly a guitar and piano giving the song a catchy vibe celebrating women.
As an emerging artiste, Kasembe has remained consistent in his releases.
Over the last three months, Kasembe has released three songs as he continues to build a name for himself in the Tanzanian gospel industry.
