Don’t let our support be in vain - Samini tells John Dumelo

Ghana’s legendary dancehall artiste, Samini has finally thrown his support behind actor John Dumelo and asked the actor not to disappoint the youth of Ghana once he becomes successful at winning his parliamentary seat.
Samini has declared his support for John Dumelo’s bid for the Ayawaso West Constituency’s Parliamentary seat for the National Democratic Congress(NDC) but has a condition for the man who seems to be winning the heart of the masses.
“If you are genuinely ready for the task. I’m with you bro. I support the vision behind Yung and able people taking charge. Pls, don’t let our support be in vain. Support from the youth toward you is purely nonpartisan and its high time you acknowledge that. #Idey4u, “ Samini tweeted.
Ghana goes to the poll in December this year. Ahead of that, John Dumelo has filed to contest as a parliamentary candidate on behalf of the National Democratic Congress.
Early this year, John and Samini had had a back and forth on Twitter with Samini asking John Dumelo not to overly criticize politicians because once he wins, he will become like them.
