Hussein Machozi Affected by COVID-19 Lockdown in Italy, Urges Fans to Exercise Caution

Veteran Tanzanian musician Hussein Machozi has given an update on his state from Italy, the current epicenter of the Coronavirus.
Through a video posted online, a sorrowful Machozi narrates how life has become unbearable in the European country.
Italy is currently in a total lockdown as a measure to contain the spread of the novel Coronavirus, which has led to over 8,000 deaths in the country.

In the video, Machozi explains that he has been indoors for over a month now, something that is taking a toll on him.
He claims that the Italian health system only focuses on individuals below the age of 40 years, something that scares him.
Machozi uses the opportunity to urge Tanzanians to stay safe during the crisis, since it is very serious.
“Tusichukulie vitu zengine serious kama comedy… nawependa sana, naongea kwa sababu nipo sehema ambayo hii kitu imetake over,” Machozi said.
The artiste called on his fans to adhere to government guidelines on how to avoid the spread of the virus.
He appeals to everyone to ensure they maintain the social distance and wash hands as one of the precautionary measures to curb COVID-19 spread.
Despite the predicaments, Machozi is hopeful that the cure for the virus will soon be discovered.
