Chris Brown Praises Kenya's Matwana Culture

Award winning American singer and dancer Chris Brown yesterday (23.03.20) took to Instagram to give a shout out to Kenya’s matatu culture.

He posted a picture of a Rongai matatu that was in the process of being pimped out with two pictures of him in the back.He went as far as recognizing the source of the piece of art. He tagged the matwana culture page and added a fire emoji.

Numerous Kenyan fans excitedly took to the comments to show the father of two love for the post and proudly claim the art with Kenyan flag emojis.

The ‘No Guidance’s hitmaker performed in Mombasa, Kenya way back in 2017 and was said to have been paid Kshs 90 million for a 90 minutes performance.

Breezy is not the only high profile star who has taken to social media to honour his emblem on Kenyan matatus. American rapper Cardi B said in 2018 she would love to visit Kenya after she saw her picture on a matatu.
