Lauren Jauregui Releases New Video and Single Dubbed 'Lento' With Tainy

Lauren Jauregui has been tapping into her Latina roots going by her latest releases together with Tainy. She released her new single over the weekend dubbed ‘Lento’.
Lauren sings her way through the medium-paced reggaeton single. She has a lovely voice that has great raspy high-pitched tones. She takes us through the song in Spanish and only uses little English for the second verse.
The video is really Lauren featuring everyone else in the video. This is in the sense that she moves through a party of everyone dancing but she is the only face and person we are focused on and everyone else looks like a shadow.
The video also translates the title ‘Lento’ to us which is, “moving and/or dancing in a slow pace,” which is really what everyone on there is doing. Lauren sings to her lover and takes the meaning even deeper with her lyrics, “dancing with the one you love.” Essentially making the song a soul conversation between two lovers with lyrics such as, “In-ex-hale one time, align your breath with mine, under an open sky we fly.”
