Kenya’s Manolo releases a brand new tune dubbed ‘Hallelujah’
Manolo Kenya is a very talented and versatile songwriter and singer/rapper. He is well versed in the Gospel genre of music as well as the guitar and the piano. Compared to other artists, Manolo’s music incorporates a lot of diversity with the type of beats and visuals he uses. Mr A1 has taken his music to the next level with his brilliant content and enriched lyrics.
Manolo’s ‘Hallelujah’ recently premiered. ‘Hallelujah’ is his second instalment into 2020, after releasing his ‘Fiti’ track earlier this year. ‘Hallelujah’ is such a sweet record filled with notable lyrics and messages. The Bigtune features a mid tempo track heavily embedded with light piano notes and back up singers in the background. Manolo flexes his musical prowess without breaking a sweat and has a lot of fun on the track. In the intro, he even jokes about whether to rap or sing ‘Sijui niroge Sijui Niimbe’’. Hallelujah was produced by Wuod Omollo and mixed & mastered by Majic Mike.
Manolo started out in 2012 as the lead member of Recapp, an urban gospel group based in Kenya.
After a successful career period with the group,he branched out on his own in 2018 to explore a different path.He is an outstanding singer,rapper,songwriter and performer with over ten years experience. Other hits by Manolo include ‘Mwingine'and 'Weka Juu'. Manolo has also colloborated with some of the 'Greats' in the music industry including multiaward winning Guardian Angel on 'Kamata'.
