On Wednesday, Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni announced that he had put a stop to all public events and gatherings as a preventive measure against the fast spreading Corona Virus for the next one month.

Among the many artistes whose concerts were affected by the ban included Big Talent Boss Eddy Kenzo who had a music festival slated 28th March at Kololo Airstrip.

He may have complied with the President's orders, but the ''Signal'' hit maker has opened up in a live Facebook video that he is swimming in debts, considering the millions he invested in the postponed event, together with his partner, Lubba Events.

"I agree with the orders of the President or the Ministry of Health to stop these concerts or our festival which we were looking so forward to because it is safety first.

"As an artist, I was so much affected because I had invested in a lot of money together with my partner, Lubba Events. So please pray for me because we are swimming in debts plus the different service providers, sponsors who had invested in their money. We are in great danger but we have to thank God because our fans' lives are first priority," he said.

Eddy Kenzo promised that the festival will take place on dates that will be communicated later.

He assured his fans that festival will go down in history because they now have more time to prepare.
