It is a sad day for Ugandan artist Leila Kayondo and her family following the untimely death of her lovely dad, Yahaya Kayondo who passed on Thursday evening.
While it's unclear how Leila’s father passed, it is clear that his sudden death was something she was not ready for or seemingly expecting.
Clearly a dad's girl, the ''Nyumirwa'' hit maker could not hold it anymore, as she made the sad announcement on her social media handles, sharing the photo of her smiling besides her daddy with a heartbreaking caption.
Being so close and sharing so much with her father, the loss hit her so hard, forcing her to term it the worst day of her life, also begging for comfort from God.
"God please wake me up. My Taata My life. The love of My life is gone. Worst day of my life. Allah please hold me," Leila cried out, following the post with heartbreaking emojis.
