I won’t be surprised if this is end times - Joey B on Coronavirus

The issue of coronavirus seems to have taken every space in the world including the entertainment space. Entertainment personalities are all sharing their opinions as well as advising their followers on the virus, which has been described by the World Health Organization as a pandemic.


In the wake of this, multiple award-winning rapper Joey B has also shared his thoughts on the issue via his Twitter page. The musician seems to be in fear that the world is coming to an end.

The “Tonga” hitmaker took to Twitter on Tuesday, March 17, saying: “won't [sic] be surprised if this’s end times.”

His reaction comes following the widespread of Coronavirus pandemic of which Ghana has recorded seven cases.

Ghana has also traced one hundred and eighty (180) contacts of the confirmed cases.

To curb the spread of the disease, the government of Ghana has put drastic measures in place.

On Sunday evening, in a televised address the president of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, ordered the closure of all educational institutions with effect from Monday, March 16, 2020.

He also ordered the suspension of all public gatherings for the next four weeks.

Known privately as Darryl Paa Kwesi Bannerman-Martin, Joey B rose to fame with his hit single ‘Tonga’. Joey B has collaborated with artists such as Sarkodie, EL, Fuse ODG, Edem and many others.
