Young Rapper, Recho Rey Says She is Ready for a Battle with Legendary Keko

There was a time when we only knew Jocelyn Tracy, known to many as Keko, as the baddest female rapper in Uganda. She later relocated to Canada after her career went down the drain because of drugs. Her name, however, still holds value in the foundation of Hip Hop music in Uganda.

We currently have a young rapper running the streets and she feels she is ready to take Keko's crown without fear.

19 year old Mirembe Racheal commonly known by her stage name, Recho Rey has revealed that she is ready to battle it out with the legendary rapper because she feels she has all it takes.

"If Keko came up and she really wants to battle me, I'm there because I'm not afraid of anything. I do Luga flow. Keko is a very good rapper but I'm bad in my own style. I do not know about her." Recho revealed during an interview with Urban TV.

The youngster who is riding high in her hit single 'Gweno Daawo' Rey came to the limelight during Feffe Bussi's 'Who is Who' challenge that trended nation wide. In a sit down interview, Recho Rey revealed that she wrote her lyrics for the challenge in only 30 minutes.

She has since released a number of songs like 'Kiggwa', 'Cheating', 'Bwogaana' ft Winnie Nwagi among others. She also won 'Best Caller Tune' for her song 'Guma Bakunyige' and 'Best Female Rapper Of The Year' in the recently concluded Hip Hop Awards.
