I Won't Degrade Myself Battling Sheebah — Cindy Sanyu

Music fans who hoped for a music battle between Team No Sleep's Sheebah and female award winning dance hall artist, Cindy Sanyu are in for the greatest disappointment of their lives.
This comes after the 'Boom Party’ hit maker revealed on national TV that she is no longer interested in sharing the stage with her nemesis, Sheebah.
Cindy on 7th March had a concert dubbed ''Boom Party Concert'' at one of the biggest show grounds in Uganda, Lugogo Cricket Oval, and filled it to capacity.
Being the first ever female artist to pull such numbers at the venue, she believes she got it all and does not need to prove how good she is to anyone anymore.
"I'm not interested at all in the battle. I did it all and I do not want to drag myself behind. Everything that needed to be proved, I did it all. There is no one that can stand up and battle me. I do not need anyone's approval anymore,” Cindy opined.
Cindy further revealed that there is no circumstance that can get her to battle it out with Sheebah, not even huge sums of money.
"The first time I requested for the battle, Balaam had put less than 100 million but I did not care because I wanted it to go down in the books of history that women had staged a battle. We were going to make history and inspire women and the industry would change. That is all I wanted although her side asked for so much money.
"So even if they bring me so much money, I just can't. I made so much money from my concert. You saw the number of people who turned up,” she said.
The renowned musician further noted that the only people she can be matched with are Jose Chameleone, Bebe Cool and Grace Nakimera, who she feels is the only female artist worth the battle.
"The battle I can accept is Bebe Cool, and Jose Chameleone, those are the real challenges worth watching. The only female artist I can allow to challenge me is Grace Nakimera if she was still in the industry. The rest, I can't degrade myself," Cindy concluded.
