On The Low by Burna Boy Receives Gold Plaque in France!!

World renown Damini Ogulu Popularly known as Burna Boy received a gold plaque in France for his song ‘On The low’ which has surpassed the 100 million streams mark. The song is currently close to 107m and still counting.

Burna Boy who refers himself as African Giant took to his social media pages to acknowledge the success the song 'On The Low' has received since its premiere in 16 N.ov 2018

He said," On the low” went Gold in France without any radio push or promo. Love every single one of you that streamed it over 15m times, it’s still #FOOTONNECK2020".

In a bid to seal his call as an African Giant, the release of his fourth Album and sufficient use of his profile to raise awareness for a better Africa has created a movement that seeks to empowers all to be ‘African Giants’. He clearly demonstrates that he is one of his people.

His latest release, 'Odogwu' is as significant as the previous releases months after declaring that he is the Best since Fela Kuti. As you are aware this sparked great controversy and buzz as he was accused of reaping the fruits of those who came before him.

We acknowledge that he has been able to traverse the continent from his music and received various nominations including 2020 Grammy awards in the Best World Music category.
