Amapiano is definitely ruling the airwaves hard and heavy within and outside of South Africa and Dj Zinhle is not about to be left behind. The female house Dj has teamed up with Dr Duda and they have featured YouTube sensation Lucille Slade for new single dubbed ‘Go’.
‘Go’ is a feel good song definitely created for the summer because we want to ‘Go’. Dj Zinhle had the hottest summer song last year with Umlilo and she might be tapping into this energy with this new song and lucky for her, she will be playing it everywhere she goes. ‘Go’ is really different from what Umlilo was in the context of genre and instrumentation.
‘Go’ lies heavier on the more chilled Amapiano vibes; Samthing Soweto with one set of drums taken away. The layering of every instrument on this song sounds very carefully done to give people the luxury to listen to this chilling at an event that calls for that but can still tap into the part of someone that wants to be dancing all night when this song comes on.
