Matata release new single dubbed 'Kata' with a very colourful video for it

We finna add a new birthday song to our playlists but this time we make it danceable, like it blends well with the Dj mix so they don’t have to go on a one minute break to look for the song. This is what Matata have given us with their new song ‘Kata’ and we love them with each release.
‘Kata’ is really what it is; taken from the Kenyan remix of the birthday song, “Kata keki, tukule sasa’.
Matata have created a bop with this one and especially with the video. They have taken the concept of surprising someone for their birthday with full house decorations and a cake; they are also really talking the Kenyan language of what a birthday is, ‘eat before you come, we only have cake and drinks’.
The video is colourful with balloons, their colourful clothes and the use of some helium lighting in one or two scenes. The Matata guys stay dancing and I guess we now have a new dancing style when we are singing to people wakate keki. One of the most powerful subtle statement in this video is that they used a thick black queen for the video vixen (body positivity all the way)
