Well, I think heartbreaks get to a point where one feels like building their own man and that is exactly what Teamarrr is speaking about in her new song ‘Kinda Love’ featuring D. Smoke.
The firs Raedio signee is about done with men and ‘Kinda Love’ is her trying to build a man who fits into her ideal of how a man should love her like and how love should be. She then realizes that all these ideals bring a perfectionism that is neither practical nor beautiful. D. Smoke is in the song repping for the men and letting Teamarrr know that she needs to learn how to love without much expectations.
The video is a beautiful concept of Teamarrr living with her lover who is a robot, rather a man she has built for her own; their everyday activities. D. Smoke is in the video as the engineer in the video and it really is simple, full of colour and highly creative.
