DJ Zinhle wins Forbes Entertainer of the Year Award ahead of International Women's Day

DJ Zinhle had a great 2019 courtesy of her song ‘Umlilo’ which was voted as the best song in South Africa and she also headlined the biggest concerts in the area as the only female DJ. She is not slowing down any time soon and just ahead of the International Women’s Day, she received the award of the Entertainer of the Year Award from Forbes; Leading Women Summit 2020, Forbes Women Africa.
DJ Zinhle rose to fame in 2016 when people started recognizing her role in the house industry in South Africa and the time being almost the only woman who was a DJ in South Africa. She is a Marketer by profession and she quit her job earlier on to get into DJing full-time. She has since gone on to create a dynasty around her with her company that handles her events, her bookings and all her business, a watch brand known as ‘Era by DJ Zinhle’ and just recently a furniture line knwn as ‘Jiyane Atelier’.
DJ Zinhle is definitely one of the leading ladies in the entertainment industry in the world. She is set to release her new single with DR. Duda featuring South African YouTube sensation, Lucille Slade on the 13th of this month. She is also set to perform in Kenya at Blue Doors, Westlands on the 8th of March.
