Among the many artists she wanted to perform is her former girl group, the famous Blu*3.

Blu*3. Blu 3 was a Ugandan all-female band formed in April 2004 after winning the TV show Coca Cola Popstars. The name is contrived to mean 3 Beautiful (or Black) Ladies from Uganda and its original members were Cindy Sanyu, Lilian Mbabazi, and Jackie Chandiru.

Fans would have loved to see them reunited and performing their hit songs like Kakaana, Where you are, Nzijukira, Hitaji, Akayimba kali and Ndayira Ndiba wuwo among others but it may not be possible according to Cindy.

Speaking during a press conference, the self styled 'King Herself' revealed that she has been making efforts to get them together but Jackie's family has kept her away from music.

“Her family cut her off from the industry...I am doing boom party rehearsals with Lillian Mbabazi. Lillian and I would like Jackie Chandiru to perform with us at the boom party concert but unfortunately, I can’t reach out to her (Jackie),” said Cindy.

Blu*3 ladies split to pursue solo careers after ruling airwaves between 2004 to 2009. Cindy was the first to quit was quickly replaced by Mya Baganda.

Cindy and Lilian have remained active in the industry while Jackie has had a roller-coaster with life having a dip following her drug addiction.
