Joyce Omondi releases new single and video dubbed 'This is my God'

Joyce Omondi-Waihiga is blessing this weekend with her glorious voice and hot single titled ‘This is my God’.
‘This is my God’ is fusion of afro-pop and benga melodies/acoustics. This fusion makes the song a very boppy and fun song to listen to. Joyce provides all the harmonies to the song and sparingly using the pre-recorded vocals for the chorus. Joyce Omondi is talking about the glorious deeds of the Lord and being thankful hence claiming Him into her life.
The video carried all the fun of the audio into its making. Joyce and the director scouted for all the colour they could possibly have found in Nairobi and so did everyone else on set; her make-up artist and the wardrobe manager. The director uses a lot of natural light and places focus corners that have a pop of bright colour.
Besides the use of colour, Joyce Omondi dances through the video with her all-female background dancers. She smiles all through the video translating the lyrics into the video beautifully. There are occasional flashes of the lyrics in the frame which is beautiful.
