King of Ghana’s rap music, Sarkodie, has apologized to Nigeria’s Yemi Alade publicly for ignoring her multiple requests for a collaboration.
In 2017, Yemi Alade labelled the SarKCess Music label boss as ‘unprofessional’ for deliberately ignoring her reach out attempts on several occasions. According to her, she met Sarkodie on different occasions and arranged a collaboration but he ditched her anytime they were ready to hit the studio.

“I’ve really tried my best to really not go into details but the long and short on why I don't want to dwell on this is that is super unfair, unprofessional and unkind for international acts or even artistes to have a dealing with anybody and after agreeing to certain things, you don't come through at all, I can count 3 different countries and three different venues where my team and I had an agreement with the artistes (Sarkodie) in particular and he didn't come through,” Yemi Alade said during an interview on Starr FM with Bola Ray.
Because of these events, Yemi Alade unfollowed Sarkodie on Twitter.
Getting a wind of how badly this might have hurt the Nigerian star, Sarkodie to Twitter on Febrauary 6 to officially apologize without ‘explanations’ and urged his fans to ask the “Jonny” hitmaker to follow back.
“Ou just realized queen unfollowed me... SarkNation tell my sis to follow me back n I’m sorry. No need for no explanations it’s 2020 Link up…always proud of you,” he tweeted.
It is not yet known if Yemi Alade will follow Sarkodie back or not.
