Meek Mill is still on his activism nut and it is very evident in his latest single ‘Believe’ featuring Justin Timberlake.

‘Believe’ is really about looking forward to a brighter future for the people of the black community. Within the song Meek speaks on the high number of black men in prison and how this does not help progress the black community to be better. This is men who do not get to reach their full potential.

The video is as powerful as the audio. It takes us through a life of a woman who is addicted to drugs but really because she has no guidance with a father locked up. But tapping into her strength and her father being released, we watch her excel so much.

The song ends with an excerpt of a bible reading of judgement day read by who appears to be the grown woman from the young woman portrayed in Meek’s video. Meek also honours Nipsey Hussle and other fallen champs with their photos on his chains.

‘Believe’ is everything inspiring and spiritual as Meek Mill has promised will be through his forthcoming album, hopefully in 2020. Catch this motivational vibe with Meek and JT on ‘Believe’.
