It’s Funky Friday and Sauti Sol have just released one groovy track dubbed ‘ Suzanna’
The new sweet record is the first instalment of their forthcoming album ‘Midnight Train’. The song premiered at 10:00 am today and has already racked over two thousand streams in less than half an hour.
‘Suzanna’ is a marvelous track and is definitely a sure bet hit for the boy band. The track is heavily embedded with guitar beats and light drums. Taking nothing away from Sauti Sol but the visuals to ‘Suzanna’ completely steal the show. The ‘Suzanna’ visuals are based on the 70’s lifestyle and fashion sense, a time people had massive afros, routine dances in clubs and everybody wore high heeled shoes. The visuals are very vibrant with all the colours all over the scene. The video sort of looks like the Migos visuals for ‘Walk it like I talk it’.
The visuals to Suzanna catch your eye but the boy band weave an ear worming sound with their soulful voices. Everything about the song is executed with quite professionalism and brilliance.
Polycarp Otieno says good vibes continue in the new album, and it will be a milestone release for the group. “There is a lot of maturity in the album.
