Thousands of fans, fellow artist, comedians, among others, stormed his burial site and ancestral home in Kagga, Nakawuka to celebrate the departed Goodlyfe legend.

Among the many things that were discussed to help continue his legacy, was that his tomb would be declared as an official tourism site. This was revealed during the memorial service by the State Minister for tourism, Hon. Godfrey Kiwanda.

“We are going to work to ensure this place is turned into a museum for Radio’s music. Radio died young but his music impacted most of us,” Kiwanda said.

He further revealed that the road heading to Kagga off the Entebbe road will be tarmacked and named after the fallen singer. Also, a big structure will be put up to accommodate awards won by different artists in Uganda instead of taking them to the Ugandan museum.

He revealed that this would benefit the other lot of tourists who would prefer to understand our music industry and way of life other than visiting animals.

Radio passed away at Case Clinic in 2018 following severe head injuries that he sustained during a fight at Entebbe based hangout spot, De Bar. The key suspect in his death, Troy Godfrey Wamala, was found guilty of man slaughter and sentenced to 14 years in prison in October, last year.
