Shekere in Nigerian pidgin is a happy instrument they play to signify celebrating and dancing. This song is all about that especially with the sampling of Angelique’s legendary hit song ‘Wmbolombo’.

The video is shot in Kenya among the Maa people. It is produced by Anyiko Owoko who is at the moment handling Yemi’s PR. It takes advantage of the scenery with the greenery and the shrubby beauty of the Maasai environment.

Both Yemi and Angelique are endowed in Maa regalia and picking aspects from other African cultures in the creation of their different costumes. All costumes are functional to allow the much dancing that is in the song. Yemi is all things fun and in the video she and Angelique dance from one scene to the next.

The video has added chants by the Maa men which gives for a great introductory scene and the outro for the song. It also a great way to give us a glimpse of Yemi among the Maa women dancing and decorated in their regalia from head to toe.
