Demi Lovato's anthem performance at the super-bowl draws comparison to Whitney Houston

It has been dream of Demi Lovato’s to sing the National Anthem at the NFL super bowl show since she was a teenager. The artist finally got her time and it seems that 2020 is starting out right for her. Some Hollywood reporters are under fire though after claiming that this was a Whitney Houston moment.
To begin with, Demi Lovato had mad fun on stage and she suuuung the hell out of that National Anthem. Demi has a lot of range and she can belt her way out of every single thing. Demi hit all the right notes and missed no single beat; she did everything right.
On the other hand, Whitney Houston is definitely top of the anthem performers and her and Demi have belting power. However, the comparison has not been welcomed well and people are not here for it. And rightfully so, ‘the two superstars may have a lot in common but this, no’…many tweeps seemed to agree with this statement.
Anyway though, Demi undisputedly did an amazing thing, watch her performance at the super bowl.
