Top Kenyan female musician Vivian has dropped a new song dubbed ‘Masharti’.
‘Masharti’ is a Swahili word that means conditions, and in the song, Vivian expresses her unconditional love for the love of her life.
Written in Swahili, the message is so raw and real. Listening to it, you may actually feel like it is meant for you.
“Baibe nakufikiria daily Hapa nakuandalia Keki Tuikate mi na wewe baibe Coz I'm in love with you… Sitasikia another man stori Sipendi uwongo Ninacho-ona nikikutazama Ni moyo wako… Mapenzi bila Masharti (Masharti) Nakupenda bila Masharti (Masharti),” the song’s lyrics read in part.
The video is simple and straight to the point with a few dance moves here and there.
One of the best things about the video is the fact that it can be watched by all audiences, it has nothing exclusive.
‘Masharti’ is Vivian’s first release of 2020, and it has set the bar high for her other projects.
