Award-winning musician Kidum has released a new song dubbed ‘Nakupenda’.
‘Nakupenda’ is a love song dedicated to this girl Kidum likes, he pours his heart and explains how he truly feels about the lady.
Like all his other songs, ‘Nakupenda’ is addictive and infectious, the lyrics have been well thought out and speak the language of love.
His song provides an alternative to conservative music fans, who are not proponents of the gengetone wave that has taken the Kenyan music industry by storm.
The song is slow, the video simple and descent, it is one of the few videos you can watch around your kids, without holding on to the remote for fear of the unknown.
Kidum has solidified his place in the Kenyan music industry, and has mastered Swahili, despite being born and raised in Burundi.
He is one of the best live-music and vocalists in the region.
