It was just announced that on the 17th of January, fans of Mac Miller should expect the release of his new album that will be dubbed ‘Circles’. A little after the announcement, they were gifted a sneak peek into what might be the new album through his new single ‘Good News’.

In ‘Good News’, we experience Mac Miller in his element having conversations in his head and beautifully penning them into song. It is Mac speaking on depression on things happening around him yet he cannot quite grasp it and him being hopeful that it will get better hence the title of the song ‘Good News’.

The video opens up to him in studio with his producer. It is a footage from a time he was recording and he had cameras following him. The video then breaks into a lot of animation using angels, a white horse and nature at different backdrops. The director also has put together different cut outs of Mac Miller’s images and videos that appear within the song next to candles and using propping them to the backdrops.

It is an almost slow song which however demands every ounce of attention. If the album shapes up to this direction, this will definitely be a great album garnering him more awards. Catch a vibe with Mac Miller on ‘Good News’.
