Renowned Nigerian musician Burna Boy bagged three awards at the just concluded Soundcity MVP Awards in Nigeria.
Burna Boy was voted African Artiste of the Year, Best Male MVP, and won the Song of the year category thanks to his song Killin Dem featuring Zlatan.
2019 was a great year for Burna Boy and the awards back the fact that his songs were well received by his fans.
Meanwhile, Teni from Nigeria won the Best Female MVP.
DJ Spinall of Nigeria won the African DJ of the year beating a host of nominees including Kenya’s Crème De la Crème.
In the Best pop award, JoeBoy emerged victorious beating Kenya’s Otile Brown.
