‘Extravaganza January Parody’ Making a Kill Online

Sol Generation’s hit song ‘Extravaganza’ has been replicated by Mboga Sol to produce a parody dubbed ‘Extravaganza January Parody’.
The parody narrates the challenges that come with the month of January especially to people who overspent during the festive season.
The song features characters labeled; Cabbage, Sukuma, Avacado and Mahindi in place of Bensoul, Nviiri, Crystal Asige and Kaskazini.
The new characters outline how they were sidelined during the festive season for foods considered tastier.
“Aee January imefika, mlijibamba sana mwezi wa December, Karibuni kwenye mwezi wa mseto na cabbage ilipofika, alifunika eeehh… Waliringa na nyama,mpaka wenzetu huko wakaoza,” part of lyrics read in part.
A week after it premiered, the song is doing extremely well with over 266,000 views.
It is currently trending at position 3 on YouTube Kenya.
